Stephanie Matthews is a creative leader and award-winning arts administrator whose career bridges the worlds of visual storytelling and nonprofit innovation. As the Executive Director of A Tribe for Jazz, a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to preserving and advancing the legacy of jazz, she has grown the organization from vision to movement—building community, cultivating resources, and championing artists on a global stage.

Before stepping into arts administration, Stephanie built a thriving career as a photographer and creative director, collaborating with brands, artists, and cultural institutions to craft compelling stories through imagery. Her background in the creative industries informs her leadership approach: blending artistry with strategy, adaptability with vision, and a relentless belief in the power of reinvention.

As a speaker and consultant, Stephanie brings candid insights on leadership, creativity, and resilience—equipping audiences to embrace change, harness their passions, and lead with purpose.
