Lori Wengerd is owner of Home Care Assistance — a premier provider of in home care for seniors. Her company has a lofty mission to change the way the world ages. With a bachelor's degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and a graduate-level certificate in gerontology from The Ohio State University, Wengerd is well-equipped to lead the growth of her company that was founded in 2009 and today has more than 200 employees. In addition to being a business owner, frequent speaker, and a vocal advocate for healthy aging and quality eldercare, Wengerd serves as an appointee on the Governor's Advisory Council on Aging, on the Board of Trustees of The Catholic Foundation, on the Board of Trustees for the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, is Chairman of the Board of the Upper Arlington Commission on Aging, and is an active member of Columbus Rotary. In addition, Home Care Assistance is a proud recipient of the Better Business Bureau's 2018 Torch Award for Ethics.
