Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation is awarding much needed equipment to the Grandview Heights Division of Fire during a ceremony at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Grandview Firehouse Subs. Otherwise unavailable due to fire district budget constraints, the department benefits with a Bullex Intelligent Fire Extinguisher Training System worth more than $6,400. Each year the department conducts a fire safety program for elementary students. This new training system will allow the fire fighters to provide a more efficient and safe method of teaching that will also eliminate the risk for students with asthma. Since 2005, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has donated more than $112,000 to public safety entities in Ohio.
