Presented by Bob Hamilton, CFP®, intended to help both aging adults and their children.  It is a sharing of insights and experience from working with clients and family, who face difficult decisions. Bob has provided financial planning advice for 30+ years, the last 21 as president of PDS Planning, Inc., a fee only financial planning company in Grandview Heights.

This is a straight forward discussion of the perils of not making decisions due to advancing age and loss of competency in daily functions.  Suggestions will be given for measuring diminishing skills and the decision to continue to live at home.  Dialogues will help evaluate nursing home insurance and retirement communities.  There will be a discussion on how to deal with end of life planning, a difficult topic, but, when appropriately done, a valuable gift to the surviving family.
