About Sara:
Sara Ortlip is a Master Pilates Instructor, movement educator, and owner of Sara Ortlip Pilates and SO Pilates in Columbus, Ohio. Certified since 2013, she blends over a decade of experience with science-informed, breath-driven movement to help clients restore alignment, improve mobility, and build lasting strength.
Sara holds certifications in Pilates, kettlebell (StrongFirst Level 1), RYT-200 Yoga, and Aerial Yoga. Her teaching integrates classical and contemporary methods, including ongoing archival and classical training with mentor Troy McCarty and comprehensive certification through Balanced Body.
Since 2019, she has led her own Pilates Certification Program, mentoring instructors in anatomy, fascia, pelvic health, pre/postnatal care, and pain reduction. She collaborates closely with medical professionals to support injury recovery and long-term wellness, and is known for her biomechanical precision, detailed alignment cues, and commitment to helping others move with strength and ease.
